How old do I need to be to shop with you?
You must be 19 or older to enter our stores or purchase cannabis in Ontario. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID (driver's licence, passport, or Ontario photo card) — we check ID for anyone who looks under 25, every visit, no exceptions.
Can I order online and pick up in store?
Yes! Browse the menu for your preferred location, place your order online, and we'll have it ready for pickup. Just bring your ID and your order confirmation. Selection is store-specific, so make sure you've picked the right location before checking out.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit and cash in store. If you have questions about a specific payment method, give your store a call before you visit and we'll confirm.
Can I return or exchange a product?
All cannabis sales are final — by regulation, we can't accept returns or exchanges on cannabis products. If you receive a defective product (for example, a faulty vape cartridge or device), bring it back with your receipt and we'll do our best to make it right.
What's the difference between your three stores?
Buddies Cannabis (25 University Ave. E, Waterloo), Buddies Cannabis – Erb (646 Erb St. W, Waterloo), and Adoreweed (277 Lancaster St. W, Kitchener) are all part of the Cannabless family. Each store carries its own inventory, so menus can differ slightly — check your store's menu online to see exactly what's in stock near you.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before visiting?
Not at all. Browsing is welcome, and our staff are happy to make recommendations based on what you're looking for. If you prefer to plan ahead, each store's full menu is available online with prices, sizes, and product details.
Can I consume cannabis in or near the store?
No — consumption isn't permitted in or around our stores. Ontario's rules for where you can consume cannabis generally follow the rules for smoking tobacco. Please enjoy your purchases responsibly and legally.
How much cannabis can I buy?
Under Ontario law, you can purchase and carry up to 30 grams of dried cannabis (or its equivalent in other product forms) at a time. Our team can help you understand how equivalencies work for edibles, concentrates, and other formats.
I'm new to cannabis. Where should I start?
Welcome! Tell our staff you're new — that's our favourite kind of conversation. We'll walk you through formats, potency, and how to start low and go slow. There's no rush and no pressure; our goal is that you leave with something suited to you and the confidence to enjoy it responsibly.
Are your products legal and tested?
Yes. We're licensed Ontario cannabis retailers, and every product we sell comes through the province's regulated supply chain, which requires testing and quality standards. You'll always know the THC/CBD content of what you're buying from the product label and our menu.
